Harriett Hendren: Retailers announced for new outlet mall

The new outlet shopping center just off Interstate 64 in Simpsonville has a new name. The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass is scheduled for a grand opening July 31. It had been previously called the Outlet Shoppes of Louisville.

According to developers, retailers at the mall will be Adidas, Aeropostale, American Eagle, Ann Taylor Factory Store, Ann Taylor Loft, Asics, Auntie Anne's, Banana Republic, Bose, Brooks Brothers, Carters, Charlotte Russe, Chicken Now, Chico's, China Max, Christopher & Banks, Claires, Coach, Cole Haan, Columbia Sportswear, Converse, Crabtree & Evelyn and Crocs.

Dress Barn, Easy Spirit, Famous Footwear, Fossil, Fox, Fragrance Outlet, Francesca's, Gap, Ghirardelli, Gold Toe, Gymboree, Haggar, Hartstrings, Hot Topic, J.Crew, Jockey, Johnston & Murphy, Jones NY, Jos. Guests can sample food and drink from more than 15 Woodford County businesses. The evening will include live and silent auctions, a cash bar, night hors d'oeuvres and music by Off the Clock.
