FEATURED FUGITIVE: Paul A. Leach. Leach was wanted on a charge of second-degree arson, first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree domestic violence.

He is accused of setting afire Erica Chenault’s car after a verbal and physical dispute at her Lexington apartment on 300 block of Radcliffe Road, according to sheriff's deputies.

The dispute was part two of a long night as the former couple ate dinner at a Lexington restaurant before things turned sour when a verbal altercation began over the demise of their 15-year relationship.

Hours after their dinner Leach kicked in the front door of Chenault’s apartment while she was asleep on the couch. During the dispute Leach damage a television, left a scratch and a bruise on Chenault’s arm. The woman had to grab a large knife, call her cousin and police in order to make Leach leave. But Leach returned after police left and set Chenault’s car.

Leach might be driving a 1992 two-door black Honda with Kentucky license plate 036GGW.
