KABC names region players, coaches of year

The Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches will recognize the players and coaches of the year from each of the 16 regions during this week's Whitaker Bank/KHSAA Boys' Sweet Sixteen in Rupp Arena.

Here are this year's winning players and coaches:

1st Region: Patrick Hulbert, St. Mary; Coach Bruce Lane, Calloway County

2nd Region: Tra Edwards, Hopkinsville; Coach Tim Haworth, Hopkinsville

3rd Region: Jacob Revlett, McLean County; Coach Brian Robinson, Frederick Fraize and Coach Josh Roberts, Hancock County

4th Region: Chris Porter-Bunton, Warren Central; Coach Warren Cunningham, Barren County

5th Region: Caleb Wiggington, Taylor County; Coach James Haire, Elizabethtown

6th Region: Lamontray Harris, Pleasure Ridge Park; Coach John Mingus, DeSales

7th Region: Quentin Snider, Ballard; Coach David Henley, Eastern

8th Region: Ralphie Stone, Collins; Coach Steven Simpson, South Oldham

9th Region: Brandon Hatton, Dixie Heights; Coach Newport Central Catholic

10th Region: Brent Bach, Augusta; Coach Chris O'Hearn, Mason County

11th Region: Jackson Davis, Lafayette; Coach Mike Mendenhall III, Lafayette

12th Region: Daulton Peters, West Jessamine; Coach Rodney Woods, Wayne County

13th Region: Jordan Fox, Jackson County; Coach Brian Evans, Knox Central and Coach Jerry Overby, Whitley County
