A woman whose body was found outside a Lexington apartment complex in February died of exposure, the Fayette County Coroner's office said Wednesday.

Uta Lynn Nyberg, 53, was found lying between two vehicles in a parking lot at The Village Luxury Apartments on South Locust Hill Drive about 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 17.

According to the coroner's office, an autopsy confirmed that Nyberg died of exposure from being outside in below-freezing temperatures. Her death was accidental, the coroner's office said.
