Kentucky State Police arrested a Barbourville man after getting a tip about drug activity at his home.

Troopers went to a home on Elliott Branch in Knox County and arrested Gary King, 42, on charges of trafficking and possessing marijuana, according to troopers at the Harlan state police post.

King was arrested after trooper Dallas Eubanks and his dog, Rex, located a small bag of marijuana inside the house.

King then led troopers to a vehicle in the driveway, where they found six more pounds of the drug, police said.
