Lex-Care: Grandmother caring for grandson needs help with utility bill

March 24, 2014

Toni Miles, of the Bluegrass IMPACT program, is working with a client who needs $200 to pay her electric bill. Her utility usage was higher than expected because of the unusually cold winter. The client lives on disability and is caring for her grandson. To meet her needs in the future, she is working on her budgeting skills and plans to save money on groceries by using local food bank services.
