Two people are under indictment in Laurel County in the theft of a debit card from an 82-year-old London woman.

Laurel County Sheriff John Root said Judy Noland, 39, of East Bernstadt and Shannon Boggs, 35, of London were indicted for fraudulent use of a credit card.

According to the sheriff's department, the credit card was stolen from the woman's car while it was parked at a Laurel County medical building in January.

The card then was used to make many unauthorized purchases at area businesses, including a Wal-Mart near Corbin, the sheriff's department said.

Surveillance video from that store plus numerous tips led to the indictments, according to the sheriff's department.
