Central Bank: Sam Collins has joined the bank as a senior credit analyst in the credit administration department. Collins is also a certified public accountant.

UBS Financial Services of Lexington: Peter McFarland has been promoted to senior vice president of Wealth Management. Peter has 17 years experience in the financial industry and has been with UBS since 2012.

The Lexington Hearing and Speech Center: The following have been named board members for 2014: Bob Rouse, president; Josh Markham, vice president; Jeff Truitt, secretary; Lee Lamonica, treasurer; Dana Adamson, immediate past president. Additional board members include Carol Barr, Tara Brickey, Freddie Brown, Dr. Matthew Bush, Gilson Capilouto, Kenzie Coats, Jason Collier, Joy Kiser, Clay Mooring, Janet Scheeline, Christian Schnabel and Brian Tomlinson.

BEX Construction: Reed Short has joined the company as an assistant project manger of the Lexington-based general contractor located on Palumbo Drive.

Harshaw Trane: Clayton Smith has been named service sales leader.
