Run for the Glitz, a night of food, dancing and entertainment benefitting Bluegrass Community and Technical College, Winchester-Clark County Campus, will be at 7 p.m. April 11 at 4475 Rockwell Road, Winchester. Funds raised will benefit the school's programs, services and facilities. Tickets are $50. Pay online at Bluegrass.kctcs.edu/Giving/Foundation/Glitz.aspx or contact Bruce Manley at (859) 338-6722.

Applications accepted for police, 911

The City of Winchester is accepting applications for Police Officer and Communications Officer (911 Dispatcher) positions.

Applications for dispatchers/communications officers will be accepted until 4 p.m. Thursday in the Human Resources Office on the second floor of City Hall. Applications for police officers will be accepted until 4 p.m. April 7 in the same location.
