Marion County woman dies after SUV hits tree

A Lebanon woman was killed Sunday when she lost control of her SUV in Marion County.

State police said Ann Hope Mattingly, 62, was eastbound on Ky. 84,, about 3.2 miles east of Lebanon, when her 2003 Chevy Blazer dropped off the shoulder of the road about 10 a.m. Police said she overcorrected, which caused the vehicle to leave the road and hit a tree. Mattingly was pronounced dead the scene by the Marion County coroner.
