Our annual guide to summer camps

April 7, 2014

For most Central Kentucky kids, school is out by the middle of June. For parents, that means it's time to begin looking at how those children will spend all that free time.

This year's listing of summer camps offers a variety of choices. With camps for swimmers, actors, scientists, cooks, dancers and soccer players, there's probably an offering that will please your child and you.

We suggest you call camps before making reservations this year. Because of this winter's bad weather, many schools extended the academic year, and many camps have changed their dates to accommodate that, but they might not have made those changes in time for this publication.
