Clark County notes: Apr. 8

The No Child Left Hungry parade will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday in downtown Winchester.

The goal of the parade is to end childhood hunger one child and family at a time. Viewers are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to the parade to support the BackPack Program and the Clark County Community Services. Bins will be on site to collect food items.

Also, a dinner and dance to benefit the same group will be held at 7 p.m. at 19 Wainscott Avenue in the Breaking Bread banquet hall. Tickets are $25.
