Asbury to sponsor Ichthus Festival

Asbury University has announced that it will partner with Creation Festivals to present the 2014 Ichthus Festival on June 4-7 at the Kentucky Horse Park. Returning after a one-year hiatus, the Ichthus Festival is one of the United States' longest-running Christian music festivals.

Creation Festivals, an organization with a vision for introducing and nurturing Christian faith through music, is moving the event to the Kentucky Horse Park for the first time. Asbury plans to give away $200,000 in scholarships in conjunction with the festival. Asbury's participation in the event dates back to its founding in Wilmore in 1970.
