A traffic diversion that began Wednesday night is scheduled to continue over the next two weeks for southbound Interstate 75 in Fayette County.

The southbound left lane is closed for two weeks between mile points 106, which is south of the Man o' War Boulevard exit, and mile point 98, the Clay's Ferry Bridge at the Madison County line.

The traffic switch is necessary for rehabilitation work to continue. Two lanes will remain open during the traffic switch.

Motorists should expect serious delays.
