Kentucky State Police arrested a man on multiple charges including rape and car theft after an investigation in Knox County.

Bobby Hill, 33, of the Cannon community in Knox County, is charged with first-degree rape, second-degree assault, theft and unlawful imprisonment, according to the Harlan state police post.

Troopers said the post received a call Monday afternoon from the Knox County Hospital about a woman being raped.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the woman had been raped in a remote area of Knox County, state police said. Afterward, the rapist drove the woman to Flat Lick, forced her out of her own car and drove away in it, officers said.

Hill was arrested Tuesday.

An investigation is continuing, state police said.
