Many of us don't like change, but this one we're sure to love.

For 92 years, Ale-8-One lovers have relied on the consistency of the taste and look of their favorite soft drink. For a limited time, the bottles and cartons will feature a new look with a horse-racing theme.

The first in the racing series line is available at retail stores or can be ordered at Ale8one.com/store.

Recipes

Here are two recipes using Ale-8-One that you can serve at Derby parties.

Maker's 8

1 ounce Maker's Mark bourbon

5 to 6 ounces Ale-8-One

Add bourbon and ice to glass and fill with Ale-8-One. Gently stir and serve.

Makes 1 serving.

Mock mint julep

4 mint sprigs, plus extra for garnish

1½ cups sugar

2 cups cold water

¾ cup fresh lemon juice

6 non-returnable bottles Ale-8-One

Thin lemon slices

Rinse mint and discard stems. Place sugar, water and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Mix well. Stir in mint. Let stand for a few minutes for flavors to blend. Pour small amount of mint mixture over ice, and fill remainder of glass with Ale-8-One. Garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs.

Makes 10 servings.
