Easter swan song

The Bluegrass Opera presents this year's final performance of its Easter oratorio, King of Glory, at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Tates Creek Presbyterian Church, 3900 Rapid Run Drive. Tickets are $20. Go to Bluegrassopera.org.

one Puppet show, Two versions

Balagula Theatre presents The Cabaret, a puppet show produced, directed and performed by Madison Cripps of Asheville, N.C. There are two performances Saturday at Natasha's Bistro, 112 Esplanade, targeting different audiences. gallery hop includes Herald-Leader photographer's work

Gallery Hop, a free tour of downtown Lexington galleries, is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. One of the newest stops on the Hop is the Lexington Herald-Leader at Main and Midland. On Friday, check out the work of the newspaper's award-winning chief photographer, Charles Bertram, and order some of his amazing prints for your own.

At Mulberry & Lime, 216 North Limestone, an exhibit of intricately carved skulls and bones by Lexington native Jason Borders of Portland, Ore., opens. His work will be on display through June.
