Some of the best restaurants in Central Kentucky are participating in the Great Restaurant Round-Up on Saturday to benefit the Kentucky Equine Humane Center. The dinner and auction will be at 6:30 p.m. at The Signature Club, 3256 Lansdowne Drive.

The Equine Center is a nonprofit sanctuary providing rescue, medical care, re-education and rehoming for any type of equine, from donkeys or miniature horses to former racehorses. The center has the capacity to house about 50 horses at any time and spends, on average, $500 a month on each horse.
