University of Kentucky police arrested two men Thursday night in connection with a fire on campus Wednesday.

UK Police Chief Joe Monroe said in a news release that Cullen Gallaher, 18, and Ian Baughman, 19, were charged with second-degree arson, a felony. Charges were pending for a third person; all three are UK students, the release said.

Earlier Thursday, the UK police released surveillance photos and video of a vehicle seen driving away from the scene of the fire.

UK said someone ignited an empty cardboard beer case and placed it under a car parked at Commonwealth Stadium just before 9 p.m. Wednesday.

The fire was quickly extinguished and the car, described as either a Saturn or a Saab station wagon, had minimal damage, UK officials said.

Monroe credited a new security-camera network on campus for helping solve the case.
