Vehicle hits pedestrians in Floyd County

Two pedestrians were injured when they were hit by a vehicle while trying to cross the road in Floyd County on Monday.

Justyn McGee and Ray Mosley, both of Wayland, were trying to cross Ky. 1086 in the Wayland community when they walked into the path of an oncoming vehicle and were hit, according to a news release from state police.

Both were taken by helicopter to a medical facility, state police said.

The driver of the oncoming vehicle, Justin Caudill, received treatment for minor injuries.
