Final furlong

■ With two days remaining in the 2014 Spring Meet, Julien Leparoux holds an 18-11 edge over Stewart Elliott in the jockey standings. Leparoux booted home one winner on Wednesday's card, getting Pink Nightie home in the nightcap.

■ A victory in Friday's closing-day Grade II Dixiana Elkhorn Stakes with War Dancer will give trainer Ken McPeek his fourth stakes win of the Spring Meet. On April 5, he sent out Rosalind for a dead-heat victory in the Grade I Central Bank Ashland. McPeek then won the Commonwealth a week later with Occasional View and the Ben Ali a week after that with Frac Daddy.
