Man dies at UK hospital after Madison wreck

A man died at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital after a crash in Madison County Friday night.

Larry Don Faulkner, 59, of Richmond, was involved in a wreck at Barnes Mill Road and Meadowlark Drive at about 5:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at UK at 8:49 p.m., according to a news release from the Fayette County coroner's office. The cause of death was listed as blunt-force trauma.

The Herald-Leader's television partner, WKYT-TV, reported that Faulkner was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle that collided with a Camry.

WKYT reported that the driver of the Camry was not injured and that police did not know what caused the wreck.
