Tom Bulleit, founder of the Bulleit Bourbon brand, was honored Tuesday by the Greater Louisville Pride Foundation with a "Hometown Heroes" mural for his entrepreneurial spirit and love of the city.

Bulleit joins famed Louisvillians including Muhammed Ali, Diane Sawyer and jockey Pat Day among the 11 honorees (including the Kentucky Derby) on murals around downtown Louisville.

"Having been raised in a Louisville family that values its history and native roots, I am overwhelmed and deeply honored to be placed among such an elite group of individuals who have brought such pride to our city," Bulleit said.

Bulleit's mural will be displayed at 138 South Third Street, between West Market and West Main streets.
