Crash kills Somerset man

An 80-year-old Somerset man died Friday at a Lexington hospital where he was taken after a two-car crash in Pulaski County.

The Fayette County coroner's office identified the man as Onie Preston "Pete" Vaught, who died at 5:45 p.m. Friday at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.

The wreck occurred at 1:16 p.m. Friday at the intersection of North U.S. Highway 27 and US Highway 2227 in Somerset, a news release said.
