Two men got into a fight in Russell County on Saturday morning, and both ended up in University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.

State police said they were called to a home on Cuda Drive in Russell Springs at 7:10 a.m. because of a fight involving Andrew Burton, 32, and Anthony Wooten, 47, both of Russell County, according to a news release.

Burton had been stabbed, and Wooten sustained head injuries. Both men were taken to Russell County Hospital, then taken by helicopter to UK.

Trooper Billy Gregory said he did not know what the men were fighting over.

Both are in stable condition, police said.
