Nationwide child pornography investigation leads to arrest of Winchester man

A Winchester man has been charged as part of a nationwide, open investigation into the sharing of images of child sexual exploitation, Kentucky State Police said Thursday.

Linville Strange, 45, was arrested Wednesday on charges related to child pornography. Strange is charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

Investigators contacted Strange at his home in Winchester. After an investigation, Strange was arrested and taken to the Clark County jail.

A full forensic examination of the evidence is pending, and the investigation is continuing by state police detective Josh Lawson and Homeland Security investigations special agent Mike Romagnoli.
