Fayette Schools redistricting committee meeting set for Thursday

The second meeting of the Fayette County Public Schools redistricting committee is set for 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lexington Herald-Leader building, 100 Midland Avenue. The meeting is in the third-floor conference room in the offices of the United Way of the Bluegrass.

The Fayette County Board of Education is redrawing school attendance boundaries in anticipation of the construction of a new high school on Winchester Road and two new elementary schools, one off Polo Club Boulevard and another off Georgetown Road.
