Man dies after falling from top of tanker truck

A Cincinnati man died at University of Kentucky Medical Center on Thursday of head injuries sustained when he fell off the top of a tanker truck and struck his head on concrete, according to the Fayette County coroner's office.

Craig Smith, 56, fell from the truck at Apollo Oil in Winchester at 10:34 a.m. Wednesday, and he died at 7:08 p.m. Thursday, the coroner's office said.

The death is being investigated as accidental.
