Burglars crash car through front door of two Laurel County businesses

A car was crashed into the front door of two businesses in Laurel County early Friday, and a quarter machine was stolen from each business, the county sheriff's office said in a news release.

The burglaries occurred around 3 a.m. at Glenview Market, a mile north of London, and at Speedy Mart, on Ky. 229 two miles south of London. At least two people were in the car, described as a dark-colored Sunfire or Cavalier, the release said.

Anyone with any information about the burglaries is asked to contact the Laurel County Sheriff's office at 606-864-6600 or 606-878-7000. Callers can remain anonymous.
