The parents and aunt of a 3-year-old were arrested after the child was found Saturday morning in a Greenup County home where methamphetamine had been made, according to the sheriff's office.

Gary Tackett, 37, and Jodi Tackett, 36, the parents of the child, and Jessica Anders, 37, the child's aunt, were arrested at the Tacketts' home in Flatwoods and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and first-degree wanton endangerment.

Greenup County sheriff's deputies, as well as police officers from Flatwoods, Russell and Worthington, went to the home after receiving a 911 hang-up call from the home at 7:31 a.m., according to a news release from the sheriff.

While investigating, they found the child inside within feet of where meth had been made "within hours" of the time they arrived.

The three people who were arrested were being held Saturday night in the Greenup County Detention Center.
