A Corbin man was arrested after allegedly firing a gun toward a home in Laurel County.

Rocky Adams, 34, is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, being a persistent felony offender, possession of a gun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, the Laurel County Sheriff's Department said.

Deputies said they arrested Adams shortly before noon Sunday, after receiving a report of someone shooting a gun near houses in a subdivision on Fairway Drive, about nine miles south of London.

At the subdivision, deputies were told that a man had fired in the direction of a house occupied by a woman and her juvenile daughter.

Adams was arrested a few minutes later and was being held in the Laurel County jail.
