Chris Bailey's forecast: Thursday showers will push through with cold front

May 22, 2014

WKYT meteorologist Chris Bailey

Before we get to mild 70-degree highs, we go through some scattered showers and storms Thursday. The powerful storms of Wednesday night are expected to move on with a cold front, leaving behind much better weather in the coming days.

The best chance for showers and storms will be early Thursday across the southern half of the state. Breezy conditions and some afternoon sun will boost highs close to 80 degrees.
