Lightning forced the suspension of the second semifinal game of the 11th Region baseball tournament Tuesday night at Western Hills.

No. 23 Madison Central and No. 16 Scott County were tied 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning when umpires halted play.

Madison Central was threatening to take the lead — it had runners at first and third with one out — when the lightning delay began.

The game will be completed Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The winner will face Tates Creek in the title game, which has been pushed back to Thursday at 7 p.m.
