State police: Madison inmate escaped by cutting hole in recreation yard fence

Kentucky State Police have joined the investigation into last Friday's escape of an inmate from the Madison County Detention Center in Richmond.

The Richmond post was notified Wednesday of the escape of Roger M. Million, 24, of Richmond.

Million escaped by cutting a hole in the recreation yard fence. He was serving time in jail for manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense, according to the Richmond post.

Trooper Kenneth Bradley was the investigating officer and was assisted by the Madison County jail and the Richmond Police Department, the Richmond post said.
