Harlan County teen dies in fiery crash

A Bledsoe teen died Saturday after he lost control of his car, which overturned and caught fire. Cody Fultz, 18, was driving south on U.S. 421 in Baxter in Harlan County when his car left the road and crashed.

According to Kentucky State Police, Fultz was trapped in the burning car; he was pronounced dead at the scene by Harlan County Deputy Coroner Jim Rich.

A passenger, Bradley Lloyd of Harlan, was taken to Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital; his condition was not known. The accident remained under investigation.
