Mary Beers Preschool Professional Development Series presents two workshops for early childhood professionals from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. June 2 at The Lexington School. Speaker Daniel Hodges, an early childhood consultant and author, will present You Can't Make Me!, a workshop that offers practical suggestions to be used immediately to help children develop self-control. He will also present, Preventing the Extinction of Childhood, that will help teachers enhance free play in the classroom. The cost is $100 and includes lunch. The workshop is approved by the Division of Child Care for Early Care and Education for 7 training hours.
