The sheriff's department said two men, posing as surveyors, lured the victim out of his home about 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Lily community.

One robber held the victim down while the other forcibly stole his wallet, taking cash, a credit card and identification belonging to the man and his wife.

The robbers fled in a short-bed pickup truck, sheriff's deputies said.

No injuries were reported.
