Knox County man charged with rape of child

A 33-year-old Knox County man has been charged with raping an 11-year-old child.

Michael Mills of the Green Road community in Knox County was arrested Monday after an investigation, according to the Harlan KSP post.

Mills is charged with forcible rape, state police said.

The alleged assault occurred June 3 in the Disappointment Hollow community of Knox County, state police said.
