31-year-old Louisville man and his dog die in car wreck

A 31-year-old Louisville man died after being involved in a car accident Friday night in Scott County.

The man, whose name won’t be released until a relative is notified, was traveling on I-64 when the driver of another car crossed the median and collided with the man’s vehicle head-on killing the man and his dog, said Scott County Coroner John Goble.

The man was pronounced dead at 11:49 p.m.

Goble said the second driver was in critical condition and taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
