A Lexington man was indicted Tuesday on a sexual abuse charge that authorities said took place at Fort Knox.

Aaron Felix Walker, 40, is charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a minor under 12 years old.

According to court documents, authorities said the abuse happened on July 30-31, 2013, in Walker's room at the United States Army Base at Fort Knox. Walker gave conflicting accounts to police about the alleged incident. He told police he was a non-commissioned army officer and drill instructor at Fort Knox at the time, documents said.

Walker was arrested at his Lexington apartment April 9 and taken to the Fayette County Detention Center. He was released on $1,000 bond about a month later. Walker is due back in court June 27 for arraignment.
