Man robs Chase Bank on Clays Mill Road

Lexington police released photos of a man connected to the robbery of a Chase Bank on Clays Mill Road on Saturday.

Just before 10:15 a.m., officers were called to Chase Bank, 1617 Clays Mill Road, for an armed robbery. According to witnesses, a white man armed with a handgun entered the bank and demanded money. The employees complied and the man ran from the bank. He was last seen running south on Clays Mill Road.

He is described as between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8, 40 to 60 years old, was wearing prescription-type glasses, jeans, white or light-color shoes, a blue polo-style shirt with a dark T-shirt underneath and a ball cap.
