Laurel County authorities arrested a man on multiple charges after he allegedly trespassed on someone's property.

Bruce Hacker, 49, of East Bernstadt in Laurel County, was charged with trespassing fleeing or evading police on foot, first-degree possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.

Laurel sheriff's deputies said they arrested Hacker early Sunday morning on Moren Town Road just north of London after a property owner reported someone on his property who wouldn't leave.

Deputies said Hacker ran off when they arrived. They said they eventually arrested him and found two bags of crystal meth in his possession. Two discarded glass pipes containing white residue also were found, officers said.

Hacker was being held in the Laurel County jail.
