A body found Sunday in Lake Cumberland has been identified as that of Justin D. Shelton.

Shelton, 32, was from Burnside, the Pulaski County coroner's office said Monday.

A cause of death was not released, pending results from an autopsy Monday morning.

David Muse, who manages the coroner's office, said initial indications suggest that Shelton's death was accidental.

His body was found in the water Sunday morning, near Lake View Avenue in Burnside, according to the coroner's office.

Details in the case remain unclear, and an investigation by the Pulaski sheriff and the Kentucky Water Patrol is continuing.
