One dead, two injured in Hardin Co. crash

One man died and two others were injured Thursday when a 1997 Ford Mustang crossed the center line on South Wilson Rd. in Hardin County and struck a motorcycle.

Richard C. Lawler, 37, of Eastview, was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Kentucky State Police.

Michael Friedrich, 27, of Renfrew, Pa., was driving the 1997 Ford Mustang which struck Lawler's Kawasaki motorcycle. Friedrich was treated for non-life threatening injuries. His passenger, Michelle L. Joseph, 28, of Fort Knox, was air-lifted to University of Louisville Hospital.

The accident is still under investigation.
