Breathitt man dies when truck hits tree

A Breathitt Co. man died Thursday when a driver overcorrected on Miller Branch Barwick Rd. and hit a tree.

The 1993 Ford Explorer driven by Jordan White overturned and passenger Felix Randolph White, 42, later died at Pikeville Medical Center. According to the Kentucky State Police, Felix Randolph White was not wearing a seat belt.

Jordan White, 20, is being treated at Pikeville Medical Center. Another passenger, Ashley Herald, 19, was taken to Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Kentucky State Police continue to investigate.
