Workers get rides ready for the Bluegrass Fair's opening day

July 9, 2014

The Lexington Lions Club Bluegrass Fair opens Thursday with one price for unlimited rides at Masterson Station Park.

The fair, which runs through July 20, opens at 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is $6 (cash only), but it's free for children 6 and younger.

To get on the rides, fair-goers can pay $1 each for single-ride tickets. Some rides require more than two ride tickets.

Another option: the ride wristband for $18 a person. If you want to use a credit card to pay for tickets or the wristband, you can go to the carnival office.

For more information, go to the fair's website.
