Lexington traffic report, week of July 14

SPECIAL NOTES

The inbound right lane of Versailles Road/U.S, 60 is closed until further notice between Bennett Avenue and Oliver Lewis Way for road rehabilitation. Traffic has been shifted into the outbound lanes. Motorists are advised to use caution.

Buck Lane will be closed from 6 a.m. Monday until 7 a.m. July 28 for work on the Citation Boulevard Extension. Motorists may use Spring Valley, Mercer and Greendale roads.

MAJOR TRAFFIC IMPACT

Inbound and outbound Clays Mill Road will be restricted to one lane in each direction between Higbee Mill and Twain Ridge roads through Aug. 8 as part of the widening project.

North Upper Street will be closed between West Short and West Main streets, and traffic will be detoured to North Martin Luther King Boulevard, through Sept. 9 for a crane setup and building renovation.

SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT

Both lanes of Euclid Avenue will be blocked one lane at a time at Oldham Avenue through Friday for utility work.

The east corner of North Martin Luther King Boulevard and East Fifth Street will be blocked through Friday to work on utility poles.

Both lanes of North Limestone will be blocked one lane at a time at Rand Avenue through Friday for utility work.

The outbound right lane of Richmond Road will be blocked between Mount Tabor Road and Man o' War through Friday for sewer work.

The left turn lanes of South Limestone Street at West Main Street and of West Vine Street at South Limestone will be blocked 24 hours a day through Dec. 20 for the CentrePointe project.

The eastbound lane of Todds Road will be blocked between Andover Village Drive and Hays Boulevard through July 31 to install a water main.

Washington Avenue between South Limestone and Gladstone Avenue is closed to through traffic through July 25 for construction. There is local access from Rose Street.

MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT

The inbound right lane of Clays Mill Road will be blocked between Neal Drive and Waco Road on Monday for utility work. Traffic will be rerouted to the center turn lane.

A lane of Delcamp Drive will be blocked between Bellaire Avenue and North Broadway through July 31 for utility work.

The southbound bicycle lane of Euclid Avenue will be blocked between Rose Street and Woodland Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through July 21 for utility work.

Both lanes of Oak Hill Drive will be blocked, one lane at a time, between Locust and Park View avenues through July 31 for utility work.

The eastbound lane of Rand Avenue will be blocked between North Limestone and North Martin Luther King Boulevard through July 31 for utility work.

The left turn lane and sidewalk of Rose Street will be closed between Washington Avenue and Huguelet Drive 24 hours a day through Friday for construction.

Outbound lanes of South Upper Street between Bolivar and Scott streets will be closed on an alternating basis, with one southbound lane open at all times, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through July 25 for excavation work. Steel plates will cover the excavation during the day.
