NTRA reports $600,000 improvement in revenue

The National Thoroughbred Racing Association released its annual report Wednesday, showing that for fiscal year 2014, from February 1, 2013, through January 31, 2014, net revenue was $667,477, a $600,627 improvement over fiscal 2013 net revenues of $66,850. It's the second year in a row that NTRA has realized an operating surplus.

The not-for-profit trade association reported more than $9 million in operating revenue, $8.4 million in operating expenses, and $5,000 in non-operating income. The group ended the year with almost $2.5 million in net assets.
