Advisory committee on proposed I-75 connector to Nicholasville will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday

The Citizens' Advisory Committee for the Interstate 75 connector will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Jessamine County Cooperative Extension Office, 95 Park Drive, in Nicholasville. The committee will continue to review proposed alignments for the road, receive updates and share input on the preliminary design process.

Public information meetings will be held Aug. 5 and 7 so the public can see preliminary alignments on large maps. Engineers from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and the project team will be available to answer questions and receive comments.

The Aug. 5 meeting will be 6 to 8 p.m. at East Jessamine Middle School, 901 Union Mill Road, Nicholasville.

The Aug. 7 meeting will be 6 to 8 p.m. at B. Michael Caudill Middle School, 1428 Robert R. Martin Bypass, Richmond.

The I-75 connector is a proposed route between U.S. 27 in Jessamine County and I-75 in Madison County. The corridor goes from the proposed East Nicholasville Bypass in Jessamine County to the KY 627/I-75 Interchange area in Madison County. More project information is available at I–75connector.com.
