2 robbed at gunpoint on Lexington's East Second Street; electronics, wallets taken

Two people were robbed at gunpoint early Thursday morning on a Lexington street, police said.

It happened about 12:15 a.m. on East Second Street near downtown, according to police.

The victims were loading some items into a vehicle when two men, at least one of them with a handgun, approached and robbed them, officers said.

The robbers took an iPad, three cellphones, keys and wallets, according to police reports.

Officers have been looking for a man in a blue shirt with a blue scarf around his neck. The second man was wearing an orange shirt. Both are in their 30s, police said.

No arrests have yet been made.
